Gentle Flow and Slow Vinyasa
Gentle flow and slow vinyasa offer steady movement with space to breathe, build awareness, and reconnect with the body without rushing.
Yoga
An adaptable practice, not a performance.
My approach to yoga is rooted in nervous system support, mindful movement, breath, reflection, and rest. Sessions are beginner-friendly, adaptive, and shaped around the needs of the person or group in front of me.
Approach
It is about learning how to listen, move, rest, and return.
Practice can be challenging or restorative. It can be playful, quiet, emotional, energizing, or deeply calming. Some days it looks like stillness. Some days it looks like slow movement. Other days it asks for heat.
You do not need to be flexible, experienced, spiritual, athletic, or especially calm to begin.
Muddy water is best cleared by leaving it alone.
Ways to Practice
Gentle flow and slow vinyasa offer steady movement with space to breathe, build awareness, and reconnect with the body without rushing.
Restorative and yin-inspired practices create room for stillness, softness, deep rest, and nervous system support.
Power flow sessions offer a more active way to move with pent-up tension, emotion, restlessness, or energy. These practices can build heat, strength, focus, and release while still staying rooted in breath and body awareness.
Meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, and reflection may be woven into any session to support grounding, presence, and integration.
Beyond the Mat
This may look like guided reflection, journaling prompts, recommended readings, mindfulness practices, breathwork, meditation, or conversations around building sustainable personal practice in everyday life.
When useful, I draw from contemplative traditions, psychology, philosophy, and writers such as Ram Dass and Alan Watts, while encouraging people to remain curious rather than rigid or dogmatic in their approach.
These elements are always optional and shaped around each person's interests, comfort level, and goals.
